10 Ways Introverts Interact Differently With The World
Introverts and extraverts may seem the same on the surface, but if you look at the way they respond to life’s everyday occurrences, differences begin to emerge.Last month, for example, Science of Us writer Melissa Dahl reported on findings from psychologist Brian Little’s latest book on personality science, Me, Myself, and Us: The Science of Personality and the Art of Well-Being, which…
Netflix Alex: Hi you’ve reached Alex your Netflix Ninja, and I am ready to strike! What problems can I eliminate for you today?
Customer Chris: I was poking around Netflix and reading some descriptions and such and then reflected on the advertisement for House of Cards (it offered a trailer). It would be nice to see an option for trailers/previews for a film before commencing the watching (vs having to leave Netflix and go to another medium to look for said trailer).
Netflix Alex: I totally understand that and would love to take that great suggestion and pass it on for you :). I know that the option is available for some titles but not all and agree that it would be very good to have that!
Customer Chris: Indeed, it would! Pass it on then, use your vast arsenal of Ninja skills and weapons to great effect, make it your your personal missing, become this task! Be one with it and bring great Honor to your name and your house!
Netflix Alex: I will not stop until I see this done even if it means my end, it will end with honor :).
Customer Chris: Good!
Netflix Alex: I was able to get that passed on for you with little damage to myself, I have used all of my weapons to make this happen so keep an eye out. I cannot guarantee if the affect will be immediate but we are a feedback driven company that thrives on getting better for our customers :).
Customer Chris: Most excellent!
Netflix Alex: Yes!!! So have a great night and may your victories brim with fortune and prowess!
You were on your way home when you died.
It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
And that’s when you met me.

Going around again!
Fuck…. Ed, Ed, and Eddie.
do you remember the first time you were called annoying?
how your breath stopped short in your chest
the way the light drained from your eyes, though you knew your cheeks were ablaze
the way your throat tightened as you tried to form an argument that got lost on your tongue.
your eyes never left the floor that day.
you were 13.you’re 20 now, and i still see the light fade from your eyes when you talk about your interests for “too long,”
apologies littering every other sentence,
words trailing off a cliff you haven’t jumped from in 7 years.
i could listen to you forever, though i know speaking for more than 3 uninterrupted minutes makes you anxious.
all i want you to know is that you deserve to be heard
for 3 minutes
for 10 minutes
for 2 hours
forever.there will be people who cannot handle your grace, your beauty, your wisdom, your heart;
mostly because they can’t handle their own.but you will never be
and have never been
“too much.”
This fucked me up
I really, really like this.
I think this just broke my (per-conceived) concepts of Life and Death.
